About this item

Mother & Fry Separation: The raised transparent separator sits mid-box; its V-slots let newborn fry slip through to the lower area while the mother stays above—made for pregnant livebearers such as guppies, mollies, platies and swordtails.
2 removable perforated dividers slide down the U-channels to separate adult fish—house 2 females before birth or keep a bully apart. Note: divider holes let fry swim through, so rely on the separator for fry, not the dividers.
Mount It or Float It: 4 suction cups (2 spare) fix the box to the glass at any height, with the clear front facing you; pop the cups off and it floats near the surface.
Short-Term Fry Care Kit: Includes 2 feeding droppers, a fine fry net and a folded quick-start sheet covering the first 21 days; built for birthing and early fry care in freshwater or saltwater (rinse in fresh water after salt use), not for long-term housing or medication baths.

In-Tank Fry Nursery

316 Stainless Mesh Breeder Box A calm nursery for pregnant guppies, mollies, platies and swordtails. The raised separator guides newborn fry to the lower area, away from the mother. Mesh on 3 sides and the base keeps water moving through, while the clear front lets you watch without disturbing her.

Every Part — and What It Does

Breeder box, 2 chamber dividers, mother/fry separator, fine fry net, 2 droppers, 4 suction cups (2 spare), and a printed guide for the first 21 days. Select any point to see that part up close. 1 2 3 4 5

2 Separation Systems — 2 Different Jobs

Mother Above, Fry Below The raised separator sits mid-box. Its V-slots are wide enough for newborn fry to slip through, but the mother is too wide to follow. Fry settle in the lower area, out of her reach. Build 1, 2 or 4 Chambers Slide each divider down the U-channel on the inner wall. With both in, the center notches slot together into a cross. Lift them straight out to clean or change the layout. Dividers separate adult fish; the raised separator is what keeps fry apart from the mother.

3 Ways to Use It — and How Big It Actually Is

BREEDING For pregnant livebearers. Move the female in only when birth is near ISOLATION For separating weak, bullied or aggressive fish until things settle REARING Short-term nursery care through the first 21 days COMPACT SIZE 5.1 x 5.1 x 5.5 in overall - taller than a standard soda can

How It Goes In the Tank

Floating Mode Drops straight in with no cups. Lift it out or move it in seconds. Mesh on 3 Sides + Base Water moves through freely on the left, right, back and base. The clear front stays solid so you can watch.
