How to Use a Cat Litter Disposal Pail: Bags, Daily Use and Emptying

Litter Genie's refill guide distinguishes square continuous film, cut and tied to length, from Easy Roll perforated bags. Select the format for your actual pail; this difference does not authorize moving a refill or cutting method between systems.

Release the top frame with the front button while holding the canister with both hands. Lift out the empty cartridge; slide the new refill over it, remove the band and draw the outer layer up, then down through the center. Replace the cartridge, pull film down and tie its bottom.

For daily use, scoop waste, step on the pedal and drop it into the pail.

When full, open the door and pull the bag down. Cut it with the door-mounted cutter; tie and remove it. Knot the remaining refill's bottom to form another bag, then close the door.

Keep refill film away from babies and children.

The Litter Genie Plus page gives a different daily action: scoop clumps, open the lid, drop them in and pull its handle. Use its own complete instructions for loading and emptying, rather than transferring the Litter Champ sequence.
