When planning how to clean a microchip feeder, follow its preparation instructions and distinguish washable parts from its body.
Separate the parts
For the standard non-Connect SureFeed, remove the bowl and mat for hand washing, as its manual recommends for the integrated seal. Unlock the lid slider, press the rear open/close button, turn the back toward you and lift out the lid. Hand wash it.
Sure Petcare's US cleaning page specifies warm soapy water for the removed mat, bowl and lid, then drying. Its dishwasher allowance is limited to bowl inserts; mat and lid remain handwash-only.
Clean the named components
Wipe the SureFeed body with a damp cloth; keep the hoop's four dots clear and the deck free of debris. Do not immerse the unit or put it under a tap.
PETLIBRO's One RFID notice has a different moisture limit: its base, tag and reader must not be rinsed or wiped with a wet cloth. Its accessories must be completely dry before assembly.
Dry and refit
Let removable parts dry fully before reassembly, as the matching instructions require.
For the standard model, insert the lid flat in front of the lever, fold it over, relock the slider and close with the rear button.
Resolve differences before reuse
Confirm the exact bowl and matching care instructions with the maker before applying a conflicting dishwasher permission. If the lid will not seat or any question remains unresolved, leave the unit out of use and ask support.
Use the separate hopper-and-chute cleaning guide for dispensing equipment, and the voluntary feeder-introduction guide for learning lid movement.
